No. Your original images are always untouched in your standard WP-media folder, so there’s no need to restore anything.
Yes. We have an API that our WordPress plugin uses, that also can be used for building web or native apps. Contact support@webien.io for API documantation.
There are a couple of different image optimization tools out there. Some batch compresses your images to a number of different set file sizes. We don’t. Instead we look at what viewport size a user has and generate optimized images to them on the fly.
This also means you can change compression quality at any time, and that as soon as Avif (or a even better image format) is supported we can switch to it. Some use CDN some don’t. We do. And if you use Elementor, you should definitely give us a try.
We use AWS CloudFront CDN to deliver your images.
Our plugin serves images to visitors on the fly. This means that our solution first looks in the CDN if the requested size has been created before. If not, it takes the original image and creates a copy dynamically sized after the visitors viewport size, then compresses, converts and delivers the optimized image to your visitor, and stores a copy in the CDN.
If you are using Elementor our Lazy Load and Low Resolution Preview will also kick in.
